| 3. Adding Details to Art Work: |
Once you are okey and happy with rough sketch go for adding details. Identify main lines from light and dark lines of your rough sketch. convert them into dark lines as shown in the following image. First finish all the out lines like character costumes and accessories if any. Add required hair style. Add an action to the hands. The direction of hands will tell complete story of the picture.

It is mandatory to draw only four fingers to hands of the cartoon characters. But it is not a rule, you can go for five. Give an action to hands. Final add details to face. Many artists draw the details of the face at last stage. There is a reason for this. If you draw details to face at initial stage your attention may not allow you to make the character's other body parts to take their directions. Add eyes, ears and other part of the face to suit accordingly characters standing/sitting position. |

| 4. Inking the rough sketch. |
Now it is time to ink the character and erase out unnecessary pencil lines. Now your rough skethc is
ready for inking. Get ready with the following few drawing materials.
Materials Required:
- 100% Black waterproof drawing Ink.
- Crowquill Nib
- Brush No.1 Qty - 2 (one for black ink and another for white poster colors)
- White poster color
